RED's mission is to develop, lease, manage and own innovative shopping centers throughout the United States. Our efforts are focused on four main areas: Partnership, Commitment, Vision and Success.
Partnership: RED prides itself on the partnerships we build and turn into long-lasting, successful relationships. From the local contractor to the national retailer, RED has earned a reputation for seeking input and making decisions that benefit everyone involved in a project.
Commitment: RED is committed to the needs of our external stakeholders, committed to our business endeavors and committed to our employees. This commitment comes through in the successful projects we bring to communities across the country.
Vision: RED's vision is in bringing innovative shopping centers to communities and projects where others don't see potential or haven't been able to succeed. The rich architecture, lush landscaping and carefully selected tenant mix in every project turns that vision into a reality that communities are proud to call their own.
Success: The passion we have to be the best drives us to succeed. The result is that tenants, business partners and communities feel successful when they work with RED.
Development With Direction
RED Development, formed in 1995, develops, leases, manages and owns shopping centers in rapidly growing communities throughout the Midwest and Southwest. While the company's primary focus is in the development of open-air regional shopping centers, better known as lifestyle centers, RED has experience with neighborhood grocery-anchored centers, regional power centers, mall re-development, destination developments and mixed-use projects. RED seeks out mixed-use development opportunities, which maximize projects by combining retail with residential, office and/or hotels. RED also partners with home builders to provide convenient retail and dining destinations within master-planned communities.
RED Development targets vibrant, growing communities for its one-of-a-kind development projects. RED Development has the ability to create unique destinations that are frequented by millions due to the experience it creates with its tenant mix, architectural design, lush landscaping and community events.
RED forms strong relationships with its tenants, allowing the company to perform repeat deals with its clients. Among its national and local tenant partners are movie theaters, sporting goods stores, bookstores, apparel retailers, specialty shops and restaurants. RED's growing tenant list includes Ann Taylor LOFT, Anthropologie, Barnes & Noble, Coldwater Creek, Crate & Barrel, Gap, The Limited, P.F. Chang's, Pottery Barn, Scheels All Sports, Williams-Sonoma and Target.
